Lynne Buschman

Teaching art as a means to develop creative thinking and a way to process life has been the practice for 20+ years. I’ve taught drawing, printmaking, digital imaging, color theory, and book making at Montclair State University and Parsons in NYC. My greatest satisfaction is seeing a student realize that they can “do it”.

As a sculptural bookmaker the content of my books define their physical structure and how the book functions as both a static and a kinetic object.  Combining letterpress, pochoir, collage, colored pencil, pastel and found objects the books can be experienced visually as  objects in themselves, and physically in a personal and intimate way.
